About Teresa

I'm Teresa Bolen, owner of Bolen Bookkeeping. I began my bookkeeping career in 2022 after years of working in education and gaining firsthand experience as a small-business owner and entrepreneur.

With a Master's Degree and a background in teaching, I've learned how to take complicated information and break it down into something that is understandable and useful. I bring that same approach to bookkeeping. My goal isn't just to keep your books organized—it's to help you understand what your numbers are telling you so you can make confident decisions about your business.

I have a strong love for mathematics, business, and entrepreneurship, and I've owned multiple small businesses myself. I understand that being a business owner means wearing a lot of hats, and keeping up with the books can easily fall to the bottom of the list. That's where I can help.

Over the years, I've also had the opportunity to serve on several local boards, including serving as both President and Treasurer. These experiences have strengthened my understanding of financial responsibility, organization, budgeting, and the importance of accurate financial records.
